“We’re a company, but we eat together, we travel together, we perform together, so there’s a respect for each other. We’re family.”
Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony are responsible for some of the biggest hits on the radio dial. Over the last decade they’ve written songs for Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Mary J Blige, Bruno Mars; a veritable Who’s Who of artists who have assaulted the #1 spot on the Billboard charts. “But writing for other people is a whole other thing from doing it for yourselves,” Harmony explains. “We had to churn out the same scenario over and over again, six or seven days a week. After you do that for 10 years, you’re like ‘yo, we need a break!’”.
